Have you heard about Project 2025, Agenda 47 and the threat they pose to our democracy? Are you curious to learn more and discover why experts are so concerned? Join us for our "Breaking Down Policies" event series to explore the dangers of these plans and how they would impact you and your loved ones. This webinar kicks off our three-part series with a bang, as we celebrate the anniversary of the Voting Rights Act of 1965 by exploring how Project 2025 and Agenda 47 would dismantle many of the hard-won protections and civil rights advancements that the Voting Rights Act and other landmark legislation established for us. During this webinar we will discuss how Project 2025 and Agenda 47 would dramatically impact Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) communities, our voting rights, and immigration.
Democracy is meant to be for everyone - that is baked into the very origin of the word! In ancient greek "demos" (people) and "kratos" (power) came together to represent the power of the people - a power we must work together to protect from harmful policies.
