We are excited to announce our 8th nonpartisan Democracy Town Hall—this time with U.S. Senator Michael Bennet.   Senator Bennet is a former businessman, U.S. deputy attorney general 1995-1997, former superintendant of the Denver Public Schools and has served in the U.S. Senate since 2009.

The event takes place on Friday, Dec. 20 at 2:30 pm at the Hilltop Golf Course in Peterborough, NH.

Our event will focus on the candidate's positions on issues relating to our Republic's democracy, including:

  • Voting rights & Voter Suppression

  • Modernizing voting

  • Public funding of elections

  • Gerrymandering & Fair Voting Districts

  • Citizens United & Dark Money

  • A 28th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution

  • SuperPACs and the LLC Loophole

  • Federal Elections Commission & IRS Enforcement

  • The “Revolving Door” of Legislator-to-Lobbyist influence

  • The Electoral College & Winner-take-all elections

  • Ranked Choice Voting

  • And other democracy-related questions you might ask.

As a nonpartisan event, we ask that you keep partisan rhetoric to a minimum. Preserving our Republic by fixing our democracy is something we can all agree on!
